New Year's Eve 2016

We tail-gated/skiied at Brundage on New Year's Eve in the afternoon until the fireworks and light parade started up there.  We got cold and elected in simply coming home to make fondue and enjoy a quiet night at home.

Quick trip to Boise ~

We snuck in a few hours to pick up one of Amiah's friends, Cassie to do some errands, lunch (if McDonald's counts) and shopping with us while we had to make a quick trip to Boise.

Snowshoe/Winter Adventures

We love our snow in McCall.  Typically we are found up at Brundage but every once in awhile we change it up.  Today was just some Nordic skiing and snowshoeing through some deep snow!

Ultimate Sledding Hill

We were invited to a family afternoon sledding party.  The dads built a path down to the river and warned the kids to jump off before hitting the 'fiscal cliff' (the name it was given years ago).   The kids lined up on the deck, and were pushed off by the dads to begin the massive hill.

 The moms mostly enjoyed socializing and taking pictures.  It was a blast! During warm up stops the kids enjoyed decorating cookies, snacking, and just standing by the fire.

Santa Arrived! 

Gifts were left!

A day with my family left us feeling thankful, full (of yummy lobster from the night before and Prime Rib today), complete with a walk/sledding and naps!  Oh, and how did I forget the game of 'Speak Out'!
